“The Bible”

It was just a newspaper in 1892, now I call it “The Bible”. My first and my last love it is this magazine, maybe I am a bit too exaggerate, but if you love magazines as I do, I can bet that you feel  the same thing. But I have a problem… Why why don’t have Vogue Romania? I’d love to have this magazine in our stores, but I thought a lot at this problem and I think that I’ve found the answer and I want to share it with you.

Era doar un ziar in 1892, acum eu il numesc “Biblia”.

First of all, Vogue lives from advertising for the high fashion brands. In Romania, we have just a few high fashion stores, like Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and there are a few more, but not enough. If you buy the magazine you will see that first 100 pages are just adverts and if you never heard about the magazine you will be disappointed when you will see this. But this is how they live and still the magazine is one of the best-sellers in this industry.

Let’s suppose that all high brands will come in Romania, but the magazine won’t live more than 2 editions. Why? Because in my opinion we are not ready for something big. We won’t give 10 or 12 E on a magazine, because we will think it’s too much. Yes, it is, but if this is what you like you will give those money. But there is one more thing, again, in Romania aren’t enough people to buy this magazine as Vogue can live here. If you go on the street and ask 100 people about Vogue, most of them  won’t even know how to pronounce her name correctly.

I am not an optimistic  person , so that’s why I believe that we will never be ready for something like this, but who knows? I want to believe that someday I will find Vogue Romania, but until then Vogue USA is next to me.

Oh, my outfit. It doesn’t matter if we are in November and yes, outside are about 10-12 degrees, you can still wear sandals. Remember, sandals are not just for summer, they for all seasons, but just high high-heels!!! But don’t get cold if you want to wear them and don’t say I am out of my minds, because I am not the only one, just google and you will find a lot more girls with sandals during winter.  Behind the scene:  I live in a small city and it was very funny how old ladies were looking at me while I was doing the photo shooting in a public space because I wore sandals.

Oh, outfit-ul meu.

Btw, don’t forget that orange is still the new black and you definitely need something orange in your closet ( I wish a pair of long boots in a dark orange or black, I hope Santa hears me).
